Service Loaner Vehicle and Car Wash Policy

    Sears Imported Autos, Inc. Loaner Car Policy

• • I agree that I will return the loaner vehicle within 24 hours of notification that my vehicle repairs have been completed. I understand that there will be a $100.00 per day late fee charged to my credit card if the loaner vehicle is not returned within the 24 hours.
  • I acknowledge that the amount of fuel in the loaner vehicle is indicated above. I agree to return vehicle filled with the same amount of fuel or be subject to a refueling charge of $6.99 per gallon.
  • I understand that this loaner vehicle may not be taken more than 100 miles from Sears Imported Autos, Inc. or out of the state of Minnesota without dealer’s permission. I understand if I go past this 100 mile radius, I will be subject to a charge of $0.56 per mile.
  • I understand that I am allowed to drive the loaner a maximum of 150 miles per day. If I drive the loaner vehicle more than 150 miles per day, I will be charged at the rate of $0.56 per mile.
  • I understand and agree that there will be no smoking or any presence of the smell of tobacco, marijuana, or vape fragrance in the loaner vehicle. I understand and agree that no pets are ever to be in the loaner vehicle. I understand that if I do not follow these guidelines, I will be subject to a $250 cleaning fee.
  • I agree to return the loaner vehicle no later than the latest return date shown, even if I am not notified to do so by phone. After that date, my use and retention of the vehicle is unauthorized and subject to civil and/or criminal action.
  • I agree to operate this loaner vehicle in accordance with the law. It will not be driven in a negligent or reckless fashion or in any race, speed test or contest. It will not be used to transport persons or property for hire. It will not be used to push or tow any vehicle or trailer.
  • I acknowledge that I will be the only person driving the loaner vehicle.
  • I agree that by accepting this loaner vehicle that I have a current and valid insurance policy. I will use my present insurance policy. This includes payment of any collision deductible when I pick up my personal vehicle.
  • In the event of an accident, I and/or my insurance company accept responsibility for any third party or property damage I may cause.
  • I understand that any insurance on the vehicle carried by Sears Imported Autos, Inc. in accordance with Minnesota law or otherwise, is applicable only after all other valid and collectable insurance has been paid to its full limits.
  • I agree to indemnify and hold Sears Imported Autos, Inc. harmless for all loss, liability and expense in excess of their insurance limits provided as the result of bodily injury, death or property damage arising from use of the loaner vehicle.
  • I understand that Sears Imported Autos, Inc. does not provide insurance coverage for me or any passengers in loaner vehicle.
  • I acknowledge responsibility for any traffic citations or parking violations I may incur while using this vehicle.
  • I acknowledge that there is no damage to the loaner vehicle, except as noted here. I agree to be responsible for any damage to the loaner vehicle that is not shown.

      – Complimentary Car Wash with ANY Service. (Excludes Sprinter and Metris models)
      – Complimentary Car Wash consists of Exterior wash and Interior Vacuum.

  *Management reserves the right to alter the complimentary car wash policy at any time.
  *Sears Imported Autos, Inc. is not responsible for ANY damage that may occur to your vehicle during the complimentary car washes.
