Service Greeter
We are looking for a friendly, upbeat and courteous Service Greeter to join our team. Our Service Greeters are responsible for greeting service guests as they arrive at the dealership and directing them to the appropriate person or location.

Qualifications for this position include but are not limited to the following:

Mercedes Sprinter/Metris Technician
Sears Imported Autos is looking for a full-time experienced technician to join our growing Sprinter and Metris service department. This is a union position with full union benefits.

Position Summary: The Automotive Technician works as an integral part of the service team. Automotive Technicians perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on diesel and gasoline powered vehicles.

Job Duties/Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for diagnosing and repairing problems with the engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and similar systems.
  • Performing vehicle inspections and making sure the vehicles function properly.
  • Driving the vehicle for testing purposes
  • Using various equipment, including hand-held and onboard compression gauges or diagnostic computers.
  • Maintaining efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
  • Following a checklist in ensure that each critical part of the vehicle is examined.
  • Watching or inspecting closely parts like hoses, belts, plugs, fuel systems, brakes, and other possible troublesome items.

Job Qualifications:

  • Must have experience with diesel and gasoline engines.
  • Must have a technical degree from an automotive school, or have adequate experience.
  • Must have your own tools (special tools will be provided by dealership).
  • Mercedes-Benz and Reynolds & Reynolds experience preferred but not required.
  • Possess problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Manual dexterity and enough strength and flexibility to work in uncomfortable positions for long periods of time.
  • Able to pass background check, drug test, and have a clean driving record.

Body Repair Technician
Sears Imported Autos Body Shop is seeking a seasoned Body Repair Technician for our location in Plymouth, MN.

Job Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in frame, sheet metal straightening and sheet metal replacement
  • An understanding of diagnosis and the correct technique needed to complete the vehicle repair
  • Someone who wants to grow with the times and changes as vehicles change
  • I-Car certification in designated role preferred

Sears Imported Autos is seeking a Wheel Repair Technician who will be responsible for repairing wheels, scratches, scuffs and dent damage while providing excellent customer service. This position is at our Body Shop location in Plymouth.
