With the right amount of air pressure in your Mercedes

spare tire) at least once per month and before any long trip. To properly check
the pressure on your tires, the tire must be cold - that is, before they have
been driven more than one mile. If you must drive more than a mile to add air
to an under-inflated tire, be sure to measure the pressure while the tire is
cold and record the actual under-inflation of each tire before you drive to
properly inflate the tires.
Under-Inflation
When driving a vehicle with radial tires, it is difficult to
always notice when a tire has lost air, or is near flat.

All tires lose air through the process of permeation, and temperature changes
